There are fraternities and sororities, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and student government. There’s the Skydiving Club, intramural sports, or the International Student Association. In fact, there are more than 400 clubs and organizations across the campus of Clemson University, but only one is helping students “eat mor chikin!’

That’s right– a Chick-fil-A Club at Clemson University! In the latest episode of My Pleasure: The Unofficial Chickfila Podcast, we introduce you to the Clemson Chick-fil-A Club’s Vice President, Sydney Radecki. She’s part of the class of 2022, studying secondary education. She hopes to be a high school history teacher one day. Sydney found out about the club on Instagram back in the spring and joined right away. One of the biggest perks of membership– FREE CHICK-FIL-A. They play Chickfila trivia and award gift cards to winners.

Sydney says interest in the club grew quickly. They required sign-ups to ensure they had enough food for members. Clemson funds the club so they have a budget for food. Sydney says this idea is unique to Clemson University, but she’s surprised more schools don’t have similar clubs so Chickfila fans can socialize. Sydney would also love to support members with scholarships.

Sydney applied to be a club leader and was quickly given the roll of Vice President. She’s also a published author and an artist. Often her love of Chickfila comes out in her artwork! At the time of our interview, Sydney was applying for a job at Chickfila and ended up getting the position!
