Kevin Sorbo is to Hollywood what Chick-fil-A is to the fast food industry. He’s an incredibly hard worker, displays love and kindness, and holds his faith proudly. You can catch him knocking back a spicy chicken sandwich on a pretty regular basis. He says he lives just miles from not one, but TWO Chick-fil-A’s. How Many Nuggets Can Hercules Eat?
You might think a guy like Kevin Sorbo, who played Hercules for seven seasons, could set some nugget-eating records. Surprisingly Kevin says he could probably only eat 28 nuggets in one sitting. In 1993, Kevin Sorbo was cast as the lead role of Hercules in a series of TV films which led to the popular series, Hercules: The Legendary Journeys. He also guest-starred as Hercules in episodes of the successful spin-off series Xena: Warrior Princess as well as providing his voice to the animated Hercules films. These days he focuses more on feature-length, family-friendly films as well as documentaries. He has two projects hitting theaters this month.
Kevin Sorbo’s Documentary: Against the Tide
On November 19, 2020, Kevin’s documentary Against the Tide will be in theaters as a Fathom Event. Against the Tide is a new feature-length documentary on the life, work, and mission of legendary University of Oxford professor, mathematician, and philosopher Dr. John Lennox. Lennox has devoted a lifetime to a rigorous investigation of the critical question “Do science and history refute the validity of the Bible and the Christian worldview?” Kevin and John have some compelling conversations and unpack theological and scientific evidence of God.
Family-Friendly Film: Faith Under Fire
Faith Under Fire hits theaters from Nov 27, and then the film will also release to home entertainment and streaming platforms on December 8. Faith Under Fire is the story of a firefighter in a crisis of faith. He saves lives for a living – but he couldn’t save his wife and now he can’t save his daughter. He finds hope and guidance in an unlikely new friend. Kevin Sorbo plays Doctor Robinson in the film.
